RT @ZelenskyyUa: All night long, our rescuers worked in Ternopil, and search-and-rescue operations are still ongoing. 22 people are still missing – the effort to find them continues. More than 230 first responders from nine regions of Ukraine have been deployed. In some areas, work can only be done by hand because of the severe destruction and fragmentation of the structures. This complicates the search. As of now, 26 people are confirmed dead, including three children. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
I am grateful to all our people who have been working on the ground for almost 24 hours straight. Rescuers, medical teams, police officers – my thanks to every single one of you. It is critically important that on such hard days, despite all of Russia’s attacks and all its terror, our people always know they can count on rescue and assistance.

There was no sound, no whistle, nothing. Just a flash, a boom - and then we were already on the ground: she was in front of me, and I was behind her. When I started shouting, 'Karyna!', she couldn’t answer me. I crawled over to her, because I couldn’t stand on my leg, and realized that my child was most likely gone."
On 19 November, Berestyn, Kharkiv region, said goodbye to 17-year-old European kickboxing champion Karyna Bakhur, who was killed by a Russian strike on 18 November.
Her father, Vitalii Bakhur, says that on 19 November his daughter was supposed to leave for Austria to compete.
