🇺🇸🇮🇳 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to India of 219 M982A1 Excalibur 155mm GPS/INS guided artillery projectiles, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $47 million.
Excalibur unit cost is ~$90,000.
The prime contractor would be Raytheon.
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."

It is claimed that a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile was shot down this morning using this MANPADS.
FN-6 was developed in 2000 and supplied to Sudan, from where it likely made its way to Ukraine.

It shoots down ICBMs with a 50% success rate by kinetic hit-to-kill, an exo-atmospheric interception. Hundreds of kilometers from sea level. The US only made 44 GBI interceptors
