🇺🇸 General Lozano, PEO M&S, say that PrSM Increment 2 (moving target seeker) will flight test in Q2 2026, and then move to production of first 10 Inc 2 missiles. Unclear if he means just the contract award or actual production, which are currently planned for Aug 2026 w/ first delivery in Sept 2029.

Gen Lozano says that they expect to get support for the program, and that by this time next year he may be in a position to begin program of record execution.

Different acquisition strategies are being considered, Middle Tier Acquisition is the current preference.

Clarification: PrSM Inc 2 flight test will be in Q2 of FY2026 (Jan-March). So long as appropriations & authorization for the new start are available, an award should come by May hopefully, July at latest. Lockheed is confident about moving quickly on production given the high degree of commonality between Inc 1 & 2.
