According to Ukraine's Ministry of Justice, more than 10,000 convicts have been released on parole to join the Ukrainian military.

We remember when Hitler’s genocide of Jews struck Hungary, and how Sweden in 1944 sent diplomat Raoul Wallenberg on a special mission to Budapest, to save as many Hungarian lives as possible.
Tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews survived because we provided them with provisional protective passports and citizenship here in Sweden. When the Soviet Union later invaded Hungary, Raoul Wallenberg was forcibly taken to Moscow and disappeared.
The Swedish diplomat died, but tens of thousands of lives...

🇸🇦🇵🇰 Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have signed a formal mutual defense pact, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
"The agreement states that any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both," a statement from the Pakistani prime minister's office said.

🇺🇸🇳🇴 The US State Department has approved a possible Foreign Military Sale to Norway of 50 MK 54 MOD 0 lightweight torpedo all up rounds, plus associated equipment and services for an estimated cost of $162.1 million.
The prime contractor would be Raytheon.
"The description and dollar value are for the highest estimated quantity and dollar value based on initial requirements. Actual dollar value will be lower depending on final requirements, budget authority, and signed sales agreement(s), if and when concluded."
