Good point by John here. This is how the frontline have worked for a while now. The current Ukrainian tactic is usualy taking these infiltrations out with the use of drones instead of direct confrontations. What you also must consider, you only see a fraction of these infiltrations showing up on the maps.

Suggestion: Considering the current frontline dynamics we as analysts should consider dropping the term DRG's, or "deep reconnaisance groups."
