The Trump Admin has made what appears to be their first commitment and obligation of new security assistance funds to Ukraine.
$9 million in FY 2025 Security Assistance Initiative funds were awarded to BAE to refurbish Bradley fighting vehicles.
A total of $300 million in USAI funds are available this FY due to the continuing resolution.
Congress is considering the inclusion of $400-$500 million for USAI in the FY2026 base budget.
