🇷🇴🇮🇱 Romania has signed a ~$2.4 billion, 7 year framework agreement with Rafael for "six integrated SHORAD-VSHORAD anti-aircraft systems [Iron Dome]". The first 2 systems will be delivered within 3 years of the signing of the first implementation contract.

@Dennis_Gregorio @deaidua: To be clear, Fire Unit is the exact terminology used by the US Government & the manufacturer to describe the collection of individual components needed for the system to operate (Launching Station, Radar Set, Engagement Control Center, etc). Battery is an organizational term that may mean different things to different operators (the US Army and all others that I am aware of have a single Fire Unit in a single battery).
