The announcement was another chance to Russia, giving them 50 more days to kill Ukrainians and given Trump’s track record, he doesn’t do much after these deadlines. He’s given Russia unlimited chances. He puts more pressure on penguins than on Russia

So, here is the situation: We had a statement published by Axios that during a phone call between Putin and Trump on July 3rd, Putin told Trump that he was not going to stop and would continue attacking for the next 60 days.
Today is July 14th, 10 days after that call. Trump has now stated that he intends to wait for the next 50 days before imposing tariffs. https://twitter.com/bayraktar_1love/status/1944780601699061941#m

RT @deaidua: So it seems like the exact details will be worked out during today's visit by the German Minister of Defence Pistorius to his US colleague, but it's already safe to say that Germany will finance Patriot missiles, likely at least one Patriot fire unit for #Ukraine, or has/will agree to hand over another one (would be the fourth) from Bundeswehr stocks.
According to a spokesperson for the German Ministry of Defence, we can expect a statement from the German Minister of Defence on the matter at around 9:45 pm, 10 pm UTC+2 (in ~4 hours). I will of course report on this in detail.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Today's Oval Office meeting between Trump and Rutte was light on specifics about the logistics of where and when PATRIOT assets would be delivered to Ukraine from, but the President did say within days. If that's true then existing batteries are being granted from someone.
