🇺🇸🇪🇺🇺🇦 There is nothing new or novel about this approach. Europe and Canada have been financing the procurement of US arms for Ukraine since 2022.

There is renewed emphasis on this approach because the Trump Admin is unlikely to approve new grant security assistance to Ukraine.

If we had collectively taken the war seriously from the outset this wouldn't have been necessary, but it is because both Washington, Brussels, Berlin and Paris dragged their feet for 3 years.

At the end of the day, what matters is that Ukraine gets the American made ammo that they need, one way or another.
