🇨🇦Roshel has delivered over 1,700 units of Senator armoured vehicles to Ukraine.
In December 2023, the 1,000th delivered vehicle was reported. "Evraz North America has continued to operate plants in Portland and Pueblo despite Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022 and sanctions imposed on Evraz Plc in the UK, where the parent company is incorporated.
There is no evidence in the documents or interviews conducted for this story that Evraz’s Russian ownership is part of an effort to deliberately undermine US national security. Rather, the issue identified by Evraz appears to be poor compliance with procedures on the factory floor.
In 2022, Evraz Plc said it was looking to sell its North American operations. It has yet to complete a deal."
Its crazy that the Biden Admin did not force Russia's divestiture from Evraz NA after the invasion. The Trump Admin shouldn't waste any time in correcting this, especially since the fraud occurred on their watch during the first term.

Also it was the Bush Admin that allowed Evraz to purchase the Oregon Steel plant in 2007. This plant was one of the few in the US that stepped up to supply the MRAP program, which was forced to use a lot of steel imported from allies.
