Between Driscroll and Phelan there has been a lot of talk about reinvigorating the defense industrial base. The problem is that this is fundamentally impossible without significantly higher procurement budgets. @IvisonJ @Sean_Speer: How many Canadians place great importance on our ties with the UK and the Monarchy? I know I do, but this is a minority opinion. At least AU and NZ can say they kept the Jack on the flag. What do we have to show for ourselves? We're ashamed of our own history in this country.
