RT @deaidua: That’s the first picture of one of the 10 (!) IRIS-T SLS launchers delivered by Germany. 14 additional ones will be delivered in the future.

Compared to IRIS-T SLM, these launchers operate with cheaper and less powerful IRIS-T missiles which makes them more suitable for engaging UAVs (regarding cost efficiency).

In Ukraine, these launches are integrated into the German-delivered IRIS-T SLM fire units (6 delivered / 6 pledged).
