7.🇷🇺22nd Motor Rifle Regt significant casualty in Kursk Obl.
Not a POW, but as a significant officer KIA from this Regiment - a Lieutenant colonel/deputy CO - I thought to drop this here.
KIA in Kursk.

5.🇷🇺POWs in Kursk Obl - 234th Air Assault Regt.
Again after a break POWs from the 234th are turning up.
Signed up in 2023 to avoid prison. Ordered to entrench in Nikol'skii. Didn't manage as all who arrived there were KIA. Others deserted or exploded on the road.

6.🇷🇺POWs in Kursk Obl - 234th Air Assault Regt.
Former anti-tanker, then infantry.
When advancing their MT-LB was hit. Seven of them hid in a dugout for a week. Later it was hit by the Baba yaga drone so they fled. He lost the others and stumbled upon the UAF.

"Andrii Hrebeniuk, the sergeant major of an infantry battalion, fighting in the Donetsk oblast town of Velyka Novosilka, said soldiers went awol 'pretty frequently'. 'Some return. Some don’t,' he said. 'It’s about morale more than injury. They need a psychological reset. They go and see their families and reappear after a couple of months.' Did he understand them? 'I don’t sympathise and I don’t condemn,' he replied.

Hrebeniuk’s mechanised brigade, the 110th, last week took the unusual step of saying it was critically short of personnel. It had enough drones and artillery, but no infantry, at a time of constant Russian attacks. 'We need to break the stereotype that if you join up you will be dead in five minutes,' Hrebeniuk said. He added: 'Simple things keep you alive, like digging in, cleaning your weapons, and paying attention during first aid training.'

01:08 - In response, Azov fighters threw grenades into the basement.
01:33 - One of the Russian fighters died in an ambush while trying to escape from the basement.
04:07 - Wounded Russian fighter surrendered to Azov fighters. He said he was alone.
04:26 - The fighters go down to the basement with him to check the situation.
08:25 - The fighters found a basement where 3 Russian fighters were hiding.
09:49 - They made the right choice and decided to surrender.
10:47 - Minus Russian drone.
11:00 - Evacuation of captured Russian soldiers.
