Work will be done at Kongsberg, Norway, to be completed in 2027.

@swe_ukr: What would you spend the money on, that would actually mean increased defense capabilities in such a scenario?

There are limits to what the Western defense industry can produce and delivery timelines are real, often long because everyone is buying, Can't just pick what's available somewhere either because that might not be suitable for our needs.

Lastly and most importantly, one needs enough trained manpower, especially experienced officers and NCOs, to generate real capabilities, not just accumulate equipment.
