Poor coordination between North Korean and Russian forces because of the language barrier. One soldier claimed radio intercepts revealed North Koreans accidentally targeted Russian positions. He also said they would storm Ukrainian positions, suffering losses, but Russian troops would then fail to exploit the gains...
'Not a single soldier had a water bottle,' he said.
'They rely on the idea that they will storm through, take positions, and then eat and survive off our supplies.'...
'They are far more disciplined, with exceptional morale and determination - completely brainwashed, really, he said...

🚨🇺🇸 Secretary of Defense Hegseth has ordered a pause of both all new Army contract awards and solicitations!
"The pause could last as little as 10 days but could potentially continue for months," per 2 sources and an email seen by Bloomberg Gov.
A months long contracting freeze would be an unmitigated disaster, causing serious injury to the US Army.

As of two hours ago the US Army was still posting new solicitations on the US Government's contracting portal. I don't know precisely when the Secretary's directive was issued and whether it would take effect immediately.

@WinstonSyme4 @NotWoofers: You can't audit all the Army's contracts in 10 days and anything longer than that will cost the Department more money than could be conceivably be saved by uncovering "waste, fraud and abuse". This is obvious to anyone who knows anything about government. This was always the biggest risk of a guy like Hegseth. Not qualified to lead 3 million people and a $850 billion budget.

🇺🇸 This is a very good EO. Ultimately though, it is meaningless until the White House OMB authorizes the Missile Defense Agency to submit a budget request that adequately funds all these requirements. Then its incumbent on the President to push certain intransigent members of Congress to appropriate what is being requested. All the key Committee Chairs will be on board with this, but it's a narrow majority and most Democrats still have a pathological hatred of missile defense. https://twitter.com/John_A_Ridge/status/1884092146275484136#m
