3. North Korean POWs in Kursk Oblast.
The 2nd POW was reportedly captured on 09 JAN by Tactical Group 84 of🇺🇦SOF 8th Special Purpose Regt.
They observed and attacked a🇰🇵group. Disorientated the🇰🇵group retreated leaving a WIA.

🚨🇺🇸 The United States had no Secretary of Defense for 3 days and nobody noticed.

From the DoD IG's investigation into Sec Def Austin's hospitalization:

Austin told his Personal Security Officer (PSO) "we're not notifying anybody", and also request the ambulance not to run Code 3.

He told his PSO he expected to be released within a couple of hours, but told the PSO to cancel his meetings for the next 48 hours. The PSO and Junior Military Assistant were the only ones that knew.

Secretary of Defense Hicks was on vacation in Puerto Rico and had no idea she was now Acting Sec Def. Austin's own Chief of Staff was home, sick with the flu herself. Hicks didn't find out she was in charge until the afternoon of Jan 4th. The White House wasn't told until then either.

That's 72 hours without a properly functioning National Command Authority.

USD(P) Sasha Baker was actually in charge of the Department during that period without knowing it.
