New thread. 137 Airborne Regt POWs captured in Kursk Obl
While I've recorded POWs from its sister units in the 106th Airborne Div (51st + 119th regts) since September, POWs from the 137th started turning up in December.
Another "Drunknik" - signed up after arrest for being drunk.

From the 137th's 5th Batt 15th Company. In March 2024 he deserted whilst on vacation, got caught and sent to the 13th Company.
On 12 Dec their column of 7 BMPs + 1 Tigr was heavily shelled losing almost all vehicles

Russian air defense officer Igor Pashkov has been sentenced by a Russian court to three years in a penal colony for his "negligence" during a friendly fire incident in the Crimea in October 2023, Kommersant reports.
During the incident, the Russian Mil Mi-8 helicopter, misidentified as a Ukrainian drone, was shot down by a Russian air defense unit with the Tor short-range SAM system.
This is the first known court case of its kind in Russia.
