🇺🇸🇺🇦 "Aid to Ukraine" is really an investment in American manufacturing (updated).
$57.9 billion has gone into the US defense industrial base to date. That will reach well over $80 billion once all funds are obligated.
Top recipient states:
1. Arkansas - $4.7 billion
2. Alabama - $3.8 billion
3. Pennsylvania - $2.99 billion
4. Arizona - $2.79 billion
5. Texas - $2.17 billion
6. California - $2.17 billion
7. West Virginia - $1.98 billion
8. Florida - $1.75 billion
9. Ohio - $1.09 billion
10. Missouri - $969 million
Note that not all contracts and investments are reflected on the map, so it won't match the total obligations. Only prime contractors and select key subcontractors are mapped. The defense industrial supply chain stretches into all 50 states, and many states are underrepresented due to the nature of the weapon systems provided to Ukraine (e.g. no aircraft =very little for South Carolina & Washington).

RT @Jeff21461: Germany has requested that Patria submit a binding offer for the procurement of 300 of their CAVS 6x6 Armoured Personell Carriers.
A spokesperson of the German MOD confirmed that a budget request for the procurement of these will be submitted to the Bundestag Budget Committee as soon as the new government is formed after the federal elections on the 23rd of February.
The Bundeswehr itself has a need for roughly 1.000 new 6x6 APCs to replace the ageing fleet of roughly 900 Fuchs APC's with the Patria offering having now seemingly beaten out the Rheinmetall Fuchs EVO offering.

They had <60 ATACMS when he authorized strikes on Russia in November. Articles say it was highly unlikely Ukraine would get more.

RT @deaidua: Minister of Defence Pistorius announced today at the UDCG meeting that Germany will deliver nearly 50 additional missiles for the delivered IRIS-T systems to #Ukraine. These were originally intended for the German Bundeswehr and are now being redirected from the industry to Ukraine.
He also confirmed that the 30 M-84A4 MBTs and 30 M-80 IFVs that Germany acquired in Croatia via the Ringtausch programme for Ukraine were delivered at the end of last year.
He also announced that Germany will invest in the Ukrainian defence industry in the future. However, he did not provide any details.
An exact number for the planned deliveries of the RCH 155 was also announced. The first 6 of the total 54 RCH 155s on order are to be delivered this year.
