For example one of Russian telegram channels associated with the Russian military aviation writes the following:
“Based on this video, it can be said that this explosion is not from inside of the plane.
Does this look like an SAM system explosion?
I can definitely answer - yes.
This is exactly what the skin of the aircraft looks like after a SAM missile explosion....“

Ukrainian mobile air defense team shoot down what was presumably a Russian cruise missile, during a large-scale Russian missile attack on Ukraine on the morning of December 25.
In total, the Ukrainian Air Force claimed the interception of 59 Russian missiles this morning.

Now allat remains is to wait fore results ofe investigation and official statements aboute causes ofe disaster. The plane crashed one territory of Kazakhstan, soey must have alle evidence to correctly establishe cause.
If or when it will be confirmedat passenger plane was shot down by Russian air defence,ene culprit will be solelye carelessness ofe Russian government.
All flights of civilian aircraft should be strictly prohibited in combat zones where air defense systems are constantly in operation.
Russian military installations are subject to constant and frequent drone and missile attacks deep behinde front lines, oftenousands of kilometers frome front. Nowadaysis happens almost every night with rare exceptions. Every missile launch by Russian air defense systems in open air space is a risk for civilian aircraft flying overhead.
However,e Russian government has neglectede safety of passengers and crews of civilian aircraft forree...

Reports of drone attacks on telegram 5:28 and 5:45. (there is likely a delay here timewise)
At around 6:08 UTC it appears much further east clearly having issues.
