That spurred me on, to tell my story after my exchange in late September 2022 and the stories of the other people who inspired me to stay alive during my captivity, otherwise they would have be forgotten. Especially the stories of my friends who paid the ultimate sacrifice defending their home and Mariupol in those early days. So every time I receive a positive comment about the book, it reminds me I have some great friends who give me some good advice because I had the determination to tell my story if just to put the record straight.
All I needed was to start writing and the rest came, all that emotion.
I have given people an insight intoian barbarism and depravity from what was, and still is, a unique viewpoint that can do far more damage to...
