At today’s defence ministerial in Brussels, the two countries signed a new agreement to deepen collaboration on training, personnel, and operations.
´There is a need for a rapid and even more effective strengthening of defence capabilities in our region. That is why we have today signed a bilateral agreement that facilitates even closer defence cooperation between Norway and Denmark. The aim is to strengthen our own national defences while also contributing to enhancing the overall Nordic defence capability in Northern Europe,´ said Norwegian Minister of Defence Tore O. Sandvik.
