Rybar and other Russian channels are saying that the commander of Russian forces in Syria, Lieutenant General Sergei Kisel, has been relieved, possibly by Colonel General Chayko. Russian channels are mostly blaming the Syrian military but some are also directing blame at Kisel, Chayko, and the pattern of sending generals relieved in Ukraine to Syria.
