❗️По сообщениям о «БПЛА в Салавате»

По уточненным данным, в запретную зону залетел обычный кукурузник не уведомив никого о своем полете. После предупредительного огня, он изменил траекторию и улетел. Никто не пострадал.

RT @John_A_Ridge: Some thoughts. The center of mass for long-range S2S fires should probably be (aero)ballistic weapons. Short time-of-flight weapons with TELs can persistently hold time sensitive targets at risk and potentially close the kill chain faster than fixed-wing A/C with A2S weapons.

RT @ZeinakhodrAljaz: Netanyahu: the war wont end until we achieve all objectives including returning people to their homes in the north safely #Hezbollah #Lebanon
Hezbollah chose to attack us since October 7 last year; Hezbollah is no longer Hezbollah that launched a war against us - we killed Nasrallah and most of leaders and thousands of their terrorists and destroyed a lot of their infrastructure -

Drone attack on Russian oil refinery in Salavat, Bashkortostan, region of Russia is reported. 1300km from the frontline.

UPD. False alarm. As it is now reported, a civilian An-2 flew into a restricted area over the oil refinery and was fired upon by Russian air defense.

RT @OSINTua: It was an interesting day.

Another unit destroyed T-90S (at least it looks like it). I think both tank were from the separate tank battalion of 76 VDV division.

And my company with the help of FPV drone destroyed a very rare AFV «Buran» (2nd visually confirmed).

Update: According to new information, the alert and gunfire in the Russian town of Salavat were prompted by the flight of the An-2 biplane over the industrial zone.

There was no Ukrainian drone attack. https://twitter.com/Archer83Able/status/1861470046788198820#m

RT @konrad_muzyka: I very much recommend this interview with the commander of the 3rd Assault Brigade. Here are some key points he made.
1. The war has reached its most challenging phase with conditions on the frontlines now even more difficult than in the spring of 2022. Reasons: a lack of personnel, insufficient training, and issues with motivation linked to professionalism and trust within the military hierarchy.
2. Winter will not bring a significant slowdown in fighting. While adverse weather limits vehicle mobility, Russian infantry tactics will remain unchanged, relying on small groups advancing short distances. For Ukraine, the winter presents unique challenges, particularly for drone operations.
3. The involvement of North Korea in the conflict is concerning primarily due to its defense industrial base rather than its troops.
4. Biletskyi identifies critical issues with Ukraine’s mobilization and military training systems. Distrust in recruitment processes, fear of inadequate training, and unqualified junior officers discourage potential recruits. 80% of the people in centers (instructors?) have not been to war.
5. Maintaining soldier motivation requires more than speeches—it depends on clear plans, effective leadership, adequate resources, and comprehensive care, including proper supplies and medical attention.
6. To address shortage of personnel, he emphasizes improving the efficiency of the army through better training. He advocates for the development of 1000s of qualified instructors capable of training 10 of thousands of soldiers monthly, creating a well-prepared force.
7. Finally, Biletskyi stresses the importance of honest communication with society about the war. Over-reliance on overly positive propaganda risks eroding public trust, particularly when it conflicts with firsthand accounts from the frontlines.
