@CANADA566: My family members worked there for many years. When you work there, you are confined to one building where you work until you get a higher position years later. The security clearances are insane. The damage to the complex I’ve been tracked extensively throughout the war.
Throughout the entire war, they hit the complex’s buildings with 5-6 missiles, directly creating large holes in the roofs. One building had to be demolished. A lot of missiles had missed, there is definitely EW around it. They also struck smaller important buildings with Iskanders. Around 15% to 20% of the above-ground buildings were hit. Most important constructions are underground, and not all are above-ground buildings. They would need deep penetrators to do significant damage to the facility. The facility has an extensive underground complex and tunnel network to other places in the city.
The missile they launched at it yesterday appeared to have dummy warheads, and the damage likely isn’t significant, but satellite images will reveal that. So far, I have been surprised by how much lack of damage Russia has done to the complex with the amount of missiles they spent trying to target the complex. To destroy the above-ground buildings, they’d need nearly or more than 100 missiles to strike the complex, and they still need penetrators to hit underground. It’s one of the most critical military assets that Ukraine has in the whole country.

Ukraine 🇺🇦 will need to take out the Tu-95 bombers launching hundreds of X-101 cruise missiles at the country; it will be done one way or another
Tu-95 bombers stationed near Finland, 1,760km from Ukraine, are the #1 threat to Ukraine’s infrastructure and the country’s civilians

@CANADA566: Russia launched a ICBM/MRBM with a dummy warhead at Ukraine. They cannot do anything else, they can’t escalate any other way. The worst thing the US can do is back down. Thinking Russia will launch a nuclear weapon at Ukraine is unrealistic, and ignores that Putin is not suicidal

@CANADA566: The solution is to kill Russia economically. If Russia uses a nuclear warhead, then that should be the end of any economic relationship between Russia and any other country in the world. And that would happen; the US would have to respond. As well it should be made clear to Putin that Putin’s life would be at risk if he launched a nuke. Putin’s life is not at risk if he loses the war in Ukraine. And also, this is what Putin wants us to talk about; it’s falling into his psychological propaganda and being scared of his threats.
I get not allow Ukraine to strike Russian nuclear targets like ICBM silos and test sites. But any other restrictions like stopping Ukraine from striking Russian military targets inside Russia with ATACMS or Storm Shadow, backing down off of that because a dummy MRBM/ICBM was launched, means falling into Russia’s nuclear threats. People still do not understand that Russia needs to be stopped and defeated in Ukraine at minimum, or he will continue until he starts attacking NATO countries. This is where this weakness by the West to halt Russia since 2008 has led us to this day. If we were acting like this with Nazi Germany, if they had nuclear weapons ready to launch in WW2, then all of Europe would be controlled by Nazi Germany today. And this will lead to China inevitably invading Taiwan and taking Taiwan by using Russia’s nuclear threat strategy.

@ukraine_map @CANADA566: The Soviet Union was built on threats, Russia is built on threats. Falling into their threats means letting them win, and letting them escalate more. Ukraine shouldn't be striking specifically nuclear assets. But should 100% have the ability to strike Russia with cruise missiles

@ukraine_map @CANADA566: The consequences of using a nuke on Ukraine for Russia are astronomically higher than any benefits. @CANADA566: We can make the same claim Estonia is not worth jeopardizing USA’s national security if Russia would nuke US over them, even though US is obligated to defend Estonia. Stop falling into Putin’s threats every step of the way
Putin’s game is playing out perfectly with these people

@ukraine_map @CANADA566: Taking the suggestion that the US should back down and not allow Ukraine to strike Russia would be one of the biggest strategical blunders US could make at the moment. And that will get Russia much closer to fighting NATO and US in years. And will lead to an invasion of Taiwan 🇹🇼

@ukraine_map @CANADA566: The invasion of Taiwan 🇹🇼 is not guaranteed as of now. China 🇨🇳 is closely watching how the US 🇺🇸 acts in Ukraine 🇺🇦 and if the US backs down, abandons Ukraine and allows Russia to get its way successfully using nuclear threats, then China will invade Taiwan using similar threats

@OAlexanderDK: It should be understood the MIRVs had dummy warheads, not unitary explosive warheads. The damage they did was due to impact force and they weren’t flying at 10 Mach, but likely <5 Mach
It’s a pointless strike, other than trying to scare US, UK from letting Ukraine strike Russia

@ukraine_map @OAlexanderDK: It’s beyond me how some people actually believe that this was a sign from Russia that they will use a nuclear weapon on Ukraine next
What it actually is, is the only way Russia can try to escalate now. And another empty threat, just like the warhead, by Russia to try to scare US

@ukraine_map @OAlexanderDK: This is being blown so out of proportion, and just gives attention to what Putin wanted
Putin wanted the US and Europe to continue being scared of nuclear threats while he does whatever he wants in Ukraine. Enough is enough. US needs to ignore empty threats and allow Ukraine win
