RT @Cappyarmy: American M1 Abram’s tank in Ukraine Kursk direction. I Learned a lot about what they like and don’t like about it. Air filters in the mud are a real pain but they love the ammo blow out panels.

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA: Ukraine needs a large quantity of ATACMS and JASSM from the US. And ~200 Tomahawks to take out important military targets like factories and air bases

US used 100 Tomahawks in one day on Houthi targets, all that didn’t require Tomahawks. This would be much more helpful to the US

"Outnumbered by more than six to one along some stretches of the front, soldiers and commanders say they are hindered by a lack of combat infantry after years of heavy fighting and, just as important, by a shortage of experienced platoon and company commanders to lead untested recruits into battle. That has led to a fraying of Ukraine’s lines that has allowed Russia to make its largest gains since the first weeks of the war.

'Brigades that have been fighting for a long time are simply worn out,' Captain Viacheslav said...

But drones alone, soldiers said, will not stabilize defensive lines.

'Nothing can replace infantry,' Captain Viacheslav said, adding that drones “cannot realistically stop the enemy.'”

#BREAKING: Russian President Putin announced that a new, experimental hypersonic medium-range ballistic missile called "Oreshnik" was employed during strikes in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro on Thursday.

@ukraine_map @Maks_NAFO_FELLA: It doesn't seem like US fully understands that Ukraine needs a large quantity of missiles with consistent strikes. Taking off restrictions is great, but there would be minimal effectiveness when there aren’t many missiles provided to do strikes. US has +13,500 long-range missiles
Status-6 (Twitter)

Other Putin's statements from his address:

- Western long-range missiles were used for strikes against Russian military facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk regions;

- The conflict in Ukraine has become global after Western missile strikes on Russia;

- The enemy's use of long-range weapons against the Russian Federation cannot affect the course of the "special military operation";

- The development/use of "Oreshnik" missile is a response to US plans to produce and deploy intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles;

- Russia will respond decisively and in kind to the escalation.

@SF202017 @Wilfrie77917027 @DaldoWaldo: Use a brain, Russia will not launch nukes at Ukraine. For the millionth time you’ve been saying this for 3 years

Russia has launched +14,000 missiles at Ukraine. Ukraine 100% has the right to defend itself with missiles striking Russia. That’s how the world works. Get used to it

RT @John_A_Ridge: Before anyone asks, RS-26 Rubezh is an IRBM not an ICBM. Quite literally the same concept/capability as RSD-10 Pioneer.

The first 5,800 km flight test barely cleared the INF’s threshold (5,500 km). Subsequent flight tests were to ~2,000 km and now we have employment at ~800 km. https://twitter.com/Osinttechnical/status/1859519312924471448#m
Colby Badhwar 🇨🇦🇬🇧 (Twitter)

RT @FRHoffmann1: Please don't get caught up on the range of the missile system launched. Whether it was an ICBM or an IRBM, the range isn't the important factor.

The fact that it carried a MIRVed payload is much more significant for signaling purposes and is the reason Russia opted for it. This payload is exclusively associated with nuclear-capable missiles.

@front_ukrainian: Stfu 🤡 his nuclear threats are useless

Russia has launched 14,000 missiles at 100% of Ukraine and this midget is crying that Ukraine used 20 missiles against Russia 60km to 100km from the border

That’s like beating someone up and being surprised when you get punched back

RT @maxseddon: Putin says Russia test-fired a brand-new mid-range ballistic missile at the Yuzhmash factory in Ukraine. This is part of his response to the US and UK letting Ukraine hit targets in Russia with advanced western missiles.
