The main way Russia retaliates against Ukraine 🇺🇦 is by launching X-101, Kinzhal, Iskander-M/K, and Kalibr missiles
Most missiles launched during large strikes are X-101 cruise missiles. Taking out Russia’s Tu-95 bombers will drastically decrease the scale of strikes on Ukraine

@SpaghettiKozak: Nukes were supposed to start flying after Russia lost land in Kharkiv, then after they lost Kherson, then after Ukraine got HIMARS, then after Crimea was hit, then after Ukraine got ATACMS, then after F-16s, then after ATACMS hit Russia
Russia keeps delaying it for some reason.

Те про що я пишу не є сенсацією. Кризу в нашій військовій системі вже ніхто не приховує, тому що вона очевидна. Втім, незважаючи на це, якихось системних змін досі не спостерігається. Так, ми більш менш тримаємо фронт, але відбувається це не завдяки системі, а скоріше всупереч, за рахунок щоденного героїзму людей та кількості втрачених життів. Довго так бути не може. Тому - ще одна сторінка з воєнного зошиту «накипіло».
Розумію, що після озвученого можу отримати бойове розпорядження на штурм Авдіївки. Але, якщо мовчати, то нічого не зміниться, а міняти треба. І необхідно щоб українське суспільство – основне джерело сили нашого війська, розуміло це.
Отже. Настав час (навіть перезрів) подякувати поважним дядькам-генералам з великими зірками, які не керували реальним боєм у сучасній війні, та попрощатись. Якщо війною дронів, а саме так називають цю війну, керують...

@DaldoWaldo: Actually, there is and it’s called the Tomahawk cruise missile in combination with a large number of long-range kamikaze drones to confuse air defenses. Or they can strike the factories producing cruise missiles, also far away. The problem is US doesn’t want to send Tomahawks.

@DaldoWaldo: They can’t take Tu-95s out because they currently do not have the capability to do so. If they would have, then they’d strike them already. It’s up to US to give them several dozen Tomahawks to strike an air basebwith Tu-95s. It should happen but it’s unlikely. Taurus can’t reach

@DaldoWaldo: Taurus max range is +500km, but probably under 550km to 600km. Germany has 590 Taurus Cruise Missiles. Moscow is located 450km from Ukraine, but the air base with Tu-95 bombers is 1,760km away. US has ~4,000 Tomahawks, and also an additional +9,500 ALCM cruise missiles and ATACMS
