🇫🇷🇺🇦 French Armed Forces Minister Minister Lecornu has authorized the transfer of ~10 additional SCALP-EG air launched cruise missiles to Ukraine.

There is still no indication that the French government has placed orders for new missiles to MBDA, either for Ukraine or to replace the French Air Force's own dwindling stocks.

What strategic autonomy does France have when they don't even buy their own missiles in relevant quantities? Why would any other customer do so either? 🤔
