As you mentioned, delivered 39 Javelin launchers over 4 years, and forced them to be locked away in Western Ukraine where they couldn’t be used on the frontline and some are seriously are making that out to be some big accomplishment. He couldn’t have done anything less than that. Those fund were approved by Congess as well. That’s equivalent to 4% of the funds that were allocated to military aid to Ukraine during his whole administration, not including the previous 2 years.
Do you know what is even worse? Congress approved $400 million of military aid to Ukraine every year. And the $39 million sale of Javelins and some smaller arms to Ukraine was using none of that money approved by Congrss.
Ukraine didn’t want to open an investigation on Biden. Trump secretly indefinitely paused $400 million of military aid to Ukraine for months, which was approved by Congress, without notifying Congress, until Congress found out about it via a whistleblower.
There is zero indication other than wishful thinking that Trump will be Pro-Ukraine. Everyone he is surrounded by including his Vice President which he claimed he picked partly do to foreign policy, including other close advisors that are mostly or fully anti-Ukrainians. The damage Trump and his party have done to Ukraine is exponentially more than the very minimal aid he sent to Ukraine and didn’t even let them use. He does this thing to gain influence over others for his own political and personal gain.
Trump does not care about Ukraine or Ukrainians at all. In fact, he cares more about have a good relationship with a terrorist as well as lying about the things that he will do like stop the war in 24 hours. And now he has a plan to force Ukraine to surrender its territories, move away from Russian soldiers in their own country, and agree not to be in NATO for 20 years allowing Russia to prepare for another invasion knowing Ukraine won’t be defended like most other European countries.
