Ukrainian forces conducted successful strikes on a Russian base storing Shahed-136/Geran-2 long-range attack drones, located in the area of the settlement of Oktyabrskyi, Krasnodar Krai, southern Russia, AFU informed.

According to the Ukrainian side, approx. 400 Shahed-type OWA-UAVs were stored at that base.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the strikes were a joint operation of the SBU and Ukrainian Navy.

Ukrainian drone strikes targeted the Khanskaya Air Base located near Maykop in Adygea Republic, southern Russia, tonight.

Khanskaya is a home-base of the 272nd Training Aviation Base (в/ч 55661), operating L-39 single-engine jets.

Russian air defenses attempted to repel the attack.
