Russian Defense Ministry released footage of a Soviet-made D-74 122mm towed howitzer being employed by Russian forces on the frontlines in Ukraine.
The D-74 gun was designed in the 1940s and started to be produced in the 1950s. It saw limited use in the Soviet Armed Forces but was widely exported.
The D-74 howitzer was also produced in China as the Type
