Planet satellite imagery reveals the extensive damage following a Russian ammunition depot explosion, in Tsikarevo, Tver Oblast, Russia, which occurred after a reported Ukrainian drone strike 475km from Ukraine.

The attack resulted in the destruction of over 90 bunkers and depots, with some even reduced to large craters, while around 30 structures remained intact.

This incident marks a significant loss of ammunition for the Russian military, likely the most substantial since the start of the conflict.

According to the story, it is about a weapons package worth €1.4 billion, which is to be delivered to Ukraine by the end of the year. “According to SPIEGEL information”, the package will include 20 Marder 1A3 IFVs, ammunition for Gepard/Cheetah SPAAGs, reconnaissance drones, spare parts and more. A total of 50 different items are to be delivered.
