11. RuAF POWs near Oleshnya.
A Kabardian conscript, by his story likely from the same 488th Motor-Rifle Regt platoon mentioned in tweet
On 6th August there were 32 of them in a 2km long position at/near Oleshnya (20 conscripts, 4 sergeants and 8 border guards). They had no AT weapons. After a 5 hour battle and 2 WIA they retreated in 4-man groups.
On the morning of the 7th there were 12 of them. They came to Gogolevka which was abandoned, so they decided to head towards the command post. On the way they met a man wearing blue tape. He was UAF although it was unclear at that time. He went off to report to someone else ,then came back and they followed him.
Then they came under fire from the bushes and they started running. At first the fire was at the ground and they were being shouted at, but it was not understandable. Then one of them started shooting back and then the UAF started targeting them. Only 3 of the 12 survived having jumped in the bush. Then they we...

A Russian soldier tries to keep a straight face. What is he thinking?
Reportedly from Kursk Region. She says:
"At first, they wanted to send us to Ukraine. I thought if we get there, definitely nothing good could happen, we'll not ended up alive.
They moved here some military vehicles, BTRs they said, to load is in, and transport us to Ukraine.
But something changed on theirs side, they were talking on radio, in a very much disturbed or even scared manner. Something disturbed them."

🇺🇸🇺🇦🇷🇺 HFAC Chair McCaul, HASC Chair Rogers, HPSCI Chair Turner, HAC-D Chair Calvert, HFAC-E Chair Kean & Helsinki Commissioner Hudson out with a renewed request to President Biden to lift restrictions on ATACMS. Hopefully we'll see more Democrats echo these calls.

Russian channels say that the Russian forces launched a counter-offensive on the Ukrainian left flank in Kursk Oblast of Russia.
The advance is reportedly spearheaded by the elements of the 155th Separate Guards Naval Infantry Brigade and 106th VDV Guards Airborne Division.
The Russians claimed that their forces recaptured a number of settlements, including Gordeevka, although this cannot be verified at this moment.
