@DaldoWaldo @USAmbKyiv: US has 50 Patriot Air Defense Batteries active with +8,000 PAC-2/3 Missiles, the rest of NATO has around 40 SAMP-T and Patriot Systems (+/-5). US may also have a dozen Patriot in reserve. They could also order some for Ukraine, but they have ordered none. IRIS-T SLM is a lot less

Fall, then winter are coming. The blackouts will probably be getting more and more severe.

Ukrainians are preparing for them as much as we can, but how can we survive a winter in the city with no electricity?
The elderly, the sick, the small children families, people living on top floors of high-rise buildings... (no electricity also means no water and no working elevators).

Add to this the frequent Russian strikes of our cities and villages.

I'm not sure that the world realizes how challenging and exhausting it is to be in Ukraine these days. How tired we all are.
