RT @ColbyBadhwar: 🇺🇸🇩🇪🇺🇦 The NATO Support and Procurement Agency has awarded Raytheon a $478 million contract for PAC-2 GEM-T missiles. This is to replace the Bundeswehr's stocks, which have been depleted due to donations to Ukraine.
Denmark, the Netherlands & Norway are participating in the financing.
It was previously reported that it would be ~100 missiles, but due to the value of the contract I suspect it is more than that. MSE is ~$4 million; GEM-T should be less less, though we don't know the exact unit cost.

Captured Russian military from the Sudzha area of the Kursk region during today's Ukrainian operations on this direction. At least part of captured Russians are conscripts.
Some sources that publish the footage say that 35 Russians were captured by far.

RT @GLNoronha: Take a look at Tim Walz's archived foreign policy positions from his days as a House member.
His views are indistinguishable from those of Bernie Sanders and Ben Rhodes. Wanted sanctions lifted on Iran, Cuba, and liked the PLO getting UN observer status.

RT @deaidua: With Sebastian Schäfer (the Greens) and Andreas Schwarz (SPD), two members of the budget committee of the German Bundestag who belong to the governing parties are calling for the delivery of AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles to support the F-16 coalition.
The German AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles would have reached the end of their service life next year anyway, meaning they would have to be decommissioned. The procurement of replacement missiles worth ~178 million euros has already been authorized months ago. A delivery to Ukraine would therefore make sense.
So far, Germany is not part of the F-16 coalition, as the Bundeswehr does not have these aircraft in its inventory. This is one of the reasons why there has so far been no consideration of whether the F-16 could at least be supported with, for example, ammunition from Bundeswehr stocks. At least the consideration now seems increasingly likely.

🇺🇸🇭🇷 Croatia has not yet received approval to procure HIMARS; unclear if they have even submitted a FMS Letter of Request yet or not. I expect we will see more news on this soon if they believe they will have a signed LOA by year's end. https://twitter.com/Jeff21461/status/1820834675431981069#m

@Jeff21461 @deaidua @semanthos @John_A_Ridge: Those 105 missiles in 2022 are C8s, not Ds; part of the F-35 case. 969 more C8s were approved in July 2023 in a stand alone case. None of them have been put on contract with Raytheon; Germany was not listed in the Lot 36 or Lot 37 awards.
