Since Russia's major offensive began in October 2023, Russia have lost over 425 vehicles in the Novomykhailivka direction

The defence in the area is what all Ukrainian defence aspires to be - causing extortionate casualties for a few fields and a town.

Special notes to the AFU's 72nd Mechanized and 79th Air Assault and their supporting units, who have been defending the area for a long time.

Also a note that you can see the Russian mechanization problems occur in real time here, with older and older Soviet era equipment being used as time goes on such as T-62Ms and BTR-70s.

Ukrainian Telegram channels report that a kamikaze drone of the Shahed type has entered the airspace of Belarus.
According to the “eRadarrua” Telegram channel, the Shahed is entering Homiel region from Chernihiv region of Ukraine, from the direction of Slavutich.

“insiderUKR” Telegram channel reports that there are currently about 25 Shahed drones over the territory of Ukraine, a large number flying from the northeast.

According to @Hajun_BY, about 20 minutes ago, a fighter of the Belarusian Air Force was raised to the sky at Baranavichy airfield. The flight is probably related to the interception of the Russian Shahed-136/131 drone.

Also this morning, 2 Mi-8 helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force flew to Luninets airfield. It’s unlikely that their arrival is connected with the expectation of a Russian missile attack against Ukraine.

Since July 15, Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force have been on almost daily duty at Babruisk airfield. The reason is the desire to reduce the flight time to the border with Ukraine to intercept the Russian drones flying into Belarus. Babruisk airfield is the closest to the border.

Since July 26, we haven’t recorded any flights of helicopters of the Belarusian Air Force to Babruisk airfield. Perhaps, the military stopped seeing the threat of new flights of Russian drones into Belarus. But apparently, the threat still exists.

So far, state agencies haven’t commented on the Shahed flights into Belarus.

⚡️ Several more Shahed drones may have entered Belarus

According to “eRadarrua” Telegram channel, one of them is flying over the territory of the Palessie Radiation-Ecological Reserve towards Chernobyl. @war_monitor_ua also reports on the entry of another drone into Belarus.

Also, currently a fighter is flying in the south of Belarus, which was raised to the sky from Baranavichy airfield at around 23:50 local time.

❗️There are 6 Shahed drones in the area bordering Belarus right now – in the north of Chernihiv region of Ukraine, and @war_monitor_ua suggests they may also enter Belarus.

The exact number of the drones that are already in Belarus is unknown.
