Last night one of the UAVs (kamikaze drone of the Shahed type) launched by Russia during another attack on Ukraine flew into Belarus and stayed in the airspace of the country for at least 1 hour.
One of the first to report about the Russian Shahed in Belarus was the Telegram channel “Insider UA” at 20:27, at 20:44 this information was confirmed by the monitoring Telegram channel “Monitor”. It’s known that the UAV entered Belarus from Chernihiv region, Ukraine, near Loyeu and took a course to the northwest (towards Mazyr), but there is one more important detail.
At the time of the first information about the UAV’s flight into Belarus, a Mi-24 helicopter of the Belarusian Air Force had already been over Homiel region for more than an hour. While one can say we are in a new cold war, that analogy isn't perfect either.
I'd say we are in a brave new world, where the risk of large war(s) in Europe, Asia and the Middle East should be treated as real, but nothing is inevitable.

Infrastructure development for a missile brigade in Asipovichy continues
Babruisk Operational Department of the Belarusian Armed Forces is holding tenders to organize repair works of facilities of the 465th Missile Brigade of the Belarusian Armed Forces (military unit 61732). The brigade is stationed in military town No.2 “Paudniovy” in Asipovichy. It’s armed with Iskander-M and Tochka-U missile systems.
Repairs are planned at the following facilities:
• Guardhouse. It’s planned to carry out repair of walls, floor, ceiling, and replace doors.
• Control-technical center (an element of the military unit’s park designed to check the technical condition of vehicles when leaving and returning from the park). It’s planned to repair walls, floor, ceiling and replace of doors, to install a water supply system in the premises.
A total of 220,037 BYN ($68,596) will be spent on the repairs. The work is planned to be completed by September 30.
