On July 9, Ukrainian drone strikes targeted the famous Russian 4th State Central Interspecific Test Site "Kapustin Yar", located near Znamensk in Astrakhan Oblast, southern Russia.

A Ukrainian drone impacted a building located on the territory of the "105th site", belonging to the Kapustin Yar test site.

Kapustin Yar is a missile launch and testing complex, established by the Soviet Union shortly after the end of the World War II.
