@cym27s: 2 Patriots would protect the city of Kyiv as well as 1 SAMP-T. 1 would protect Odesa, 2 would protect Kharkiv, 1 would protect an F-16 air base like Starokostyantyniv, 1-2 would be on the frontline. One Patriot, SAMP-T would protect Dnipro, an Air Base, or Lviv.

Then 1 more would be needed for Dnipro, 1 more would be needed for Zaporizhzhia, 1-2 more for the front, 1 for Kryvyi Rih, and one more for another city, air base, the frontline, or a replacement.

In total, Ukraine would need about 7 more Patriots, or in total 15-16 Patriot, SAMP-T systems at least to effectively protect against Russia. With Kyiv, Kharkiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Air Bases, and 3-4 on the frontline to defend against Russian fighter jets launching hundreds of glide bombs.
