@cym27s: That’s why they need a Patriot there. They are not able to intercept any Kinzhals at that air base, that we know, and need better cruise missiles and anti-drone defenses. It will be a risk when F-16s get there because then the base would be defenseless against ballistic missiles.

It’s just not enough. To give a more detailed explanation: Ukraine has only one Patriot PAC-3 MSE/CRI launching battery, those are what are able to accurately intercept Kinzhals, technically PAC-2 can but it is harder. The other thing is that Ukraine said they will not be reporting missile interceptions that will reveal the location of Patriot batteries, meaning that if 4 Kinzhals are launched at Starokostyantyniv and if Ukraine reports those as intercepted then Russia will know that is where the other Patriot battery is.

Also, another possibility is that the Patriot battery on the front has hit by an Iskander a couple months ago when it was on the move. Two launchers and other vehicles were destroyed, unfortunately the trained soldiers operating it were also killed, and since then Ukraine has not reported many aircraft being shot down at far distances. It is possible that battery is not being used until they retrain the crew for two launchers, and technicians, and get 2 additional launchers delivery from Germany. It’s a very likely possibility because losing 2 launchers for PAC-2 even though they have more, makes the battery much more vulnerable. The other possibility is that they don’t have enough Patriot missiles because US didn’t pledged many for the past six months and aid only just started flowing.

The other possibility is that Ukraine has 1-2 Patriots defending the city of Kyiv, 1 SAMP-T, and one defending Vasylkiv airbase where F-16s maybe being prepped to be stationed there. Leaving only 0 or 1 Patriot for the rest of Ukraine.

The reality is, even if Ukraine gets the 2 additional Patriots from US and Germany and 1 SAMP-T from Italy, it will only be enough to defend that air base, Kharkiv, and Odesa. Not the rest of the country, for that they need at least 15 to 16 working Patriots to have solid defenses. Now almost the entire country is defenseless against Kinzhal and Iskander-M. We really hope they get 15 Patriots, it would help a ton with missile attacks, and 3-4 could be placed on the frontline at once.

The Russians themselves didn't link the two. There was a simultaneous flight with Bears up north and the announcement on nuclear exercise in Leningrad MD came the day after this.

@majmunzhapiku @squatsons: It’s exactly the same look at the tile configuration on the ground. It’s exactly the same configuration as in the other photo. As well is also at the exact same location of the well in the both photo, the grass is due to it taken an angle and you could see the square thing matches on the left. This place also go hit by several missiles earlier in the war so there is cracked tiles. You’re the same account this is like the second time that you are making some idiotic claim with no proof when evidence shows otherwise.

Same with the Dzhankoi strikes where it was reported yesterday a Russian commander was killed and you still didn’t show any evidence for movement just made these same bad conclusions
