@devil_n_details @John_A_Ridge: Yes, if they had them in larger numbers, they would be using breaching vehicles and BMO-T. Ukraine faced a similar problem in June when they lost a number of their scarce breaching vehicles in the initial breaching attempt.

According to POLITICO: “US preparing to announce $6 billion in weapons contracts for Ukraine.
The package could be finalized and announced as soon as Friday. It would include Patriot air defense systems, artillery ammunition, drones, counter-drone weapons, and air-to-air missiles to be fitted on fighter planes.
The equipment likely won’t arrive in Ukraine for several years, as the money is being allocated under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which issues contracts to American defense firms to build new equipment for Ukraine, as opposed to drawing from current U.S. stocks.”

Some equipment will arrive in months, some will arrive in a year, and some in 3 years. It depends what the equipment is, the he company making it, their production and current orders

5/7. Another 70th Motor Rifle Regt POW presented on a🇺🇦65th Mechanised Bde affiliated TG channel.
No mention of his battles, but he complains that comrades from Caucasus regions try to avoid duties/missions and loot.
Specifically critical of Chechens for bragging and for pressurising Russians to borrow money. Accuses a Dagestani and a Kabardian of stealing.

6/7. Two members of 🇺🇦454 Battalion, 141st Infantry Bde describe capturing a POW in a ruin in Robotyne.
He is from 71st Motor Rifle Regt, 3rd Battalion, 4th company. He was found with 2 grenades + two mags, but no weapon. He says he was tasked to hold a position. His comrade was KIA on a mine. Born in Tajikistan, but he lived in Russia the last 10 years.

The rear line is more complete although it still largely lacks the 'dragon's teeth' used as a secondary barrier.
