The Seimas of Lithuania did not support the amendments to deprive Belarusians, who frequently travel to Belarus, of their residence permits.
The majority of MPs of the Seimas of Lithuania didn’t support the introduction of restrictions on traveling to Belarus for Belarusians.
According to the results of the voting for the deprivation of residence permits for Belarusians and Russians, who travel to their homeland more than once a year, 47 MPs were against, 45 MPs abstained and 20 supported.
“In our decisions, we must distinguish the regime, the measures applied to it – whether these are sanctions or some other restrictions – and society. And these proposed measures, in my opinion, are aimed at society more and don’t solve security issues,” Labour Party leader Andrius Mazuronis said.
As for the proposal to allow only one trip to Belarus once every three months for Belarusians, 41 members of the Seimas supported it, 37 were against it, 39...

S-400 SAM systems in Belarus: who received the second divizion set?
In late March, we wrote about ambiguous statements of the commander of the 377th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Belarusian Armed Forces (military unit 55719, Polatsk district) about the rearmament of the unit with the S-400 SAM systems. It was not quite clear from the statement of the officer whether the regiment had already been rearmed with the S-400 systems or was ready to be rearmed.
Later, in a story of the state media, it was stated unequivocally that the 377th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment had been rearmed with the S-400 SAM systems.
Earlier, officials of the Defense Ministry of Belarus repeatedly noted that Russia had transferred a regiment set of the S-400 systems to Belarus, i.e. two divizions. One divizion of the S-400 SAM systems was delivered to the 15th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade in 2023. The transfer of S-400 to the air defense units of Belarus ...

According to our information, on April 23, another Su-30SM fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at Baranavichy airfield from Russia.
Two Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft and at least one Su-30SM fighter (since today – at least two) of the Russian Aerospace Forces are permanently stationed at the airfield in Baranavichy. We regularly record flights of these aircraft in the airspace of Belarus.
According to our information, on April 23, another Su-30SM fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at Baranavichy airfield from Russia.

Germany will also keep pressing European allies this week, including France and Italy, to assess what they’re able to deliver, according to people familiar with the matter.
