990.🇷🇺70th Motor Rifle Regt POWs.
An older capture I missed, likely from December 23.
Former convict from the 70th's 2nd Batt, 4th Company. Signed a contract on 18.11.23 and was shortly sent to the front. All the others were KIA so left alone he surrendered. He claims his company CO ran away.

991.🇷🇺70th Motor Rifle Regt POWs.
As in tweet 990, from the 70th's 2nd Bat 4th Company.
There were 8 in his group. One got lost en-route to the position. Their leader was WIA and another KIA. They relocated to a new position but were shelled again and had to abandon a WIA. The remaining 4 were shelled and he was also left behind WIA. He crawled to a hole, ate snow and rested. When he went out to the road he was caught by the UAF.
He claims he previously went AWOL for 2 months, but returned on 02.12.24 under threat of imprisonment,

They got lost enroute to a position where they were to entrench. Their BMP got hit. They thought RuAF were ahead but it was UAF so surrendered.
