Where did the mercenaries of PMC Wagner go from Belarus?

On February 23, we wrote that some of the mercenaries of PMC Wagner might have been transferred from Belarus to Russia on February 17. What indicates this?

• On February 15, the An-12 military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived at Homiel airport from Russia. On February 17, the aircraft flew to Machulishchy airfield, from where it left for Platov airport. The 1st training center of the Rosgvardiya (military unit 3701, Persianovski village) is located 40 km from the airport.

• Pro-Wagner Telegram channels published information that the mercenaries began to train volunteer formations of the Rosgvardiya before being sent to the front.

• Since February 9, the press service of the Internal Troops of Belarus hasn’t mentioned trainings of soldiers by PMC Wagner. Although earlier, photo and video reports from trainings with the mercenaries were published regularly.

• On Febr...

Ukrainian media outlets spread information that a military cargo train with Russian equipment (60+ vehicles, mostly BMP-2) has arrived in Minsk, Belarus. It’s not true.

The train was allegedly spotted at Aziaryshcha station. This is a loading station for the transportation of units of the 120th Mechanized Brigade of the Belarusian Armed Forces, which is located in close proximity to the brigade’s military town.

There’s snow in the photos spread, but as of February 27, there’s no snow in the area of Aziaryshcha station. Moreover, the satellite images dated February 27 didn’t show a train with military equipment at the station.

We note that on February 22, we recorded the formation of two military cargo trains with equipment of the Belarusian Armed Forces at Aziaryshcha station. One of the trains contained BMP-2 vehicles. Most likely, this train was passed off as the Russian one.

Current locations and the number of Russian troops in Belarus can be f...

This Financial Times article is an interesting read due to the level of detail, not because it reveals "a threshold for using tactical nuclear weapons that is lower than Russia has ever publicly admitted".

Here are three figures, originally Russian writings, retrieved by me from the CNA report "Russian Strategy for Escalation Management".

IMO, the FT article describes what these figures say about nuclear use in regional- and large scale war in more practical terms.
