Today the Flagshtok media outlet published an article about a Russian soldier who lost his bank card in a nightclub in Mazyr (Homiel region, Belarus). Flagshtok managed to confirm that servicemen of the 1530th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of the Russian Armed Forces are still stationed in the vicinity of Mazyr.

The Russian military appeared at Mazyr (Bokau) airfield in 2022. Before the start of the so-called Union Resolve-2022 drills, Russian military equipment began to concentrate in the area of Mazyr. On February 24, 2022, units of the Russian Armed Forces began to invade the territory of Ukraine, including from the territory of this airfield.
