@Varsevan: Don't have references on hand but I think I've seen Grisha's on patrols mentioned in Ukrainian reporting, such as ivo the Kerch strait, starting a long time ago. Minesweepers do similar things but we see them more often when they escort others around Sevastopol.

The Krivak's didn't do much until the Syria transports started needing escorts but that and patrols is useful work for them.

My interpretation is that BLKFLT, after the withdrawal from Snake Island, is reluctant to risk the Kalibr capable ships, which can be considered a strategic resource.
