US President Biden is expected to announce a new military aid package for Ukraine worth hundreds of millions of dollars during Ukrainian President Zelensky's one-day visit to Washington on Thursday, according to a US official.

It is understood that the package will include additional capabilities to strenghten Ukrainian air defenses, as well as artillery ammunition and anti-armor weapons.
