Helicopterpilot says that Russian Mil Mi-28 attack helicopters started to be employed in interceptor role against Ukrainian UAVs far from the frontlines.
That was allegedly the case with a UAV shot down over Oryol Oblast on Tuesday night, and now in the Crimea.
With its 2A42 30mm autocannon, Mil Mi-28 might be an effective weapon against slow moving targets at low altitude.

The point is Ru propaganda outlets often attempt to exagerate UAF losses by representing each film as a new loss. We have seen this from the early days.
