We can see 🇺🇸 M864 extended range (29km) base-bleed projectiles, each carrying 72 dual-purpose submunitions. Normally these rounds are treated as war reserve. https://t.co/nMobQqk80V

@Torello66311931 Anyone familiar with how they work didn't expect them to have a huge impact- it mainly allows Ukraine to tap into the massive quantity of cluster projectiles that the US has in storage.

@bobstar_m @BTudbubble The Crimean Bridge is very weak. A small pillar a couple meters wide needs to be destroyed, while for the Nova Kakhokva Dam to be destroyed a lot more explosive would be needed to destroy an 80 meter thick wall of the structure. If that occurred it would have been very noticeable https://t.co/KvJC9x0Xns

@YaraelPoof5 @BTudbubble It would take them over an hour to get there, and yes they would need to do it hundreds of times carrying lots of explosives. They would either run out of air or would need to use a rebreather, and not get sucked into the turbines or pushed by the current or get noticed by Russia

@StankoNastya @KofmanMichael I wouldn't say Ukraine can't conduct combined arms operations, but I think it struggles to do so at higher levels (e.g. brigade). We often see brigades fighting their own fight. I think any military would struggle against Russia's defenses without additional capabilities.
