The 4:1 WIA:KIA ratio was a good indication that the original figure was not specifically for Bakhmut. Most Wagner casualties in Bakhmut are convicts, and, given how they are employed and their lower medevac priority, they are less likely to survive wounds than Russian soldiers.

RT @KofmanMichael: Per Kirby, since December RU has overall suffered 100k+ total casualties in the war, with 20k+ KIA. Close to half of KIA are Wagner & majority of those were convicts. As I've suggested before, released figures are usually the top ranges of an estimate (bottom probably ~80-85%).
