Another images of several of these tanks- although only a single unit is confirmed at present to be going to Ukraine.

@jockysjetpack The Yantar was in these waters nearly a year ago. She's out now, but likely very far from here.

@Lohakar @nexta_tv Yeah but even if it wasn’t, it makes no sense that they went through 40km of Ukrainian territory or 130 km of Russian controlled territory to all settle in a town that is basically near Russia. There’s Russian Forces closer there they would’ve joined or be targeted by Ukrainians.

@Flash_news_ua That’s never going to happen ever. This Senator has no clue what he is talking about. He should be concerned about a tactical nuclear strike on Ukraine and the current attacks on Civilian Infrastructure.

GUGIs AGI Yantar departed Olenya Guba sometime between August 7th and 15th.
The ship is currently active on AIS, having been picked up on satellite.
I suspect the Yantar is one of these two contacts, in the Western Laptev Sea, the Northeast Passage.

@tansley_adam @CovertShores The Yantar hasn't been to the Baltic since last year. I think it has been operating up north for the current deployment.

White Sea PRIP and NOTAM.
PRIP says artillery shooting, and NOTAM goes to FL05, but this is a fairly large area.
It is possible this is for some kind of test activity, despite being labeled something else.

Kara Sea NOTAM
Haven't found a corresponding PRIP/NAVWARN for this one.
One possible explanation is live-firing exercise involving the Udaloy-class DDG Admiral Levchenko, as the North-East Passage deployment group likely are on the return journey.
